Faded Memories

not even back a full 48 hours now, and I'm already ready to hurt somebody.

I already mentioned that Kristy threw out the mattress I was using and bought a futon instead, but what I DIDN'T mention is how it sounds like she expects ME to pay for something I don't even LIKE.

now, granted she said "I bought you something...well it WAS gonna be gift/surprise, but that was before I found out I had to spend more money." but it still sounds like she's expecting me to pay for the bed since she had to spend a whole whoppin' $30 extra. Unless she's talking about having to pay for the cab ride completely, which is a lil different, cause she only expects me to go half and half on that anyway.

so that was straw 1

straw 2:
Kristy came down to the house to use the bathroom, and she started having a hissy fit, saying that the house is "fucking nasty".

turns out that her idea of "fucking nasty" for the day was my suitcase, and my blankets that I had kept out to use during quiet time. everything was mostly neat except for a FEW things I had taken out to go through, and the clothes that needed to be washed.

I could understand her not liking the clothes to be a pile on the floor waiting to be washed, but the washer and dryer were BOTH running at the time, so I just put the clothes in a pile where no one would have to step over/go around them. it wasn't spread out all over hell and creation, it was in ONE spot.

straw 3:

I had my notebooks, lil fill-it-in magazine, and some travel type stuff from LA sitting in a pile by the end of the futon so I could type up what I had wrote on the plane and store the vacation stuff separately.

SOMEONE was being a brat and spread them all over the place, and having a fit, so she got put in her room for time out.

Kristy came home and...of course..bitches. not just about the papers/notebooks though.

oh no, nope. she had to move onto the stuff on my computer desk (which THEY put there while I was gone) and the stuff on top of my lil cabinet thing (which, again, THEY PUT THERE).

Now, granted, she started out nice:
"Please clean that up before I do."

it was after that that started pissing me off.

Koda has been an unholy brat to me since I got back. Typical kid, I went away and she's mad at me for it, so she's "punishing" me, pretty much.

but with Koda being a brat, and the fact that I haven't gotten back into ANY kind of sleep schedule since I got home (between monday night, tuesday night, and last night, I think I managed to sleep 12-13 hours, and the majority of that number comes from monday night cause Jac let me sleep in until maybe 5 minutes before Bianca got to the hotel), by the time Kristy gets home and I can clean without munchkin in my way, I'm ready to pass out for a week.


SHE may be used to being a full time mom and having to deal with Koda acting like a bitch on pms, but I am NOT. I've been here for less than a year, she's been a mom for almost 4 years. gimme a fucking break, for crying out loud, I mean SERIOUSLY?! not even home a full two days and you're gonna give this shit to me NOW?

I'm a lil nervous, I've only flown once in my entire life, and that was only for like an hour and a half, and over a decade ago, so...x_x

I got my hair cut.

some of you might not know how "o.O" of a thing this, but before it was cut, my hair was around 3feet long, and now it's maybe 1.5?

The poor woman was like "I've never seen anyone with hair this long! not in person, anyway!", then she was kinda freaking out over how much to cut, cause I said she could take at LEAST 6inches off...I figured that'd get most of the dead ends, and it would still leave me with hair long enough for my tastes.

then she was all worried about cutting more than I wanted, so I asked her if they worked with locks of love. turns out they do, so I said to just cut off 12inches and be done with it...so then she ran around looking for a ruler. *headdesk*

I finally told her "just guesstimate"...and even then she was all worried about cutting off too much, so I reached back, picked a random handful that I knew HAD to be over 12 inches and said "cut this".

so now the longest part of my hair is like..just past my shoulder blades:P

...ok, I JUST realized that the person's name in this email is just "molecular biology" spelled all fucked up. *headdesks*

I have a 2gb sansa mp3 player, and I bought a 2gb sandisk to go with it like...MONTHS ago. well, for some odd reason, it wouldn't let me put more than 130 files on the sandisk, no matter what size they were...last night, I finally went searching for some help to fix it, and I found someone that said they reformatted their sandisk with FAT32, and it worked fine for him after that, so I tried it...

IT WORKED:D:D:D:D:D:D So now, I have almost 2 gigs free for even MORE music:D

then talked to bro in law today, and he said that my new 8gb sansa (my christmas present from him) should be arriving anytime now~ (tigerdirect had shipped it to our old georgia address, so we had to wait for them to either get that one back, or ship us a new one.)

Koda has been good all day, so she's watching Ice Age 2 while I'm on the compy~ Nathan is playing with his toes, lol.

the other good thing today was I found someone to trade my Micky card with:D I ordered DBSK's "Break out!" single, and I was hoping for Yunho's card, but hmph. I like all the guys, don't get me wrong, but I am so NOT even THINKING of trying to deny my bias XD;;

oh oh, and I should be getting 200$ back from my taxes~ I already filed them, and did it direct deposit, so it said I SHOULD get it within 8-10 days. That 200, plus the 400 I should get when we get paid makes me happy happy~

still not gonna be able to make it to Cali to visit mi shilen, but...:\ I'll probably end up using this paycheck to get a new video card and that phone with unlimited minutes/texts. and windows xp, if I can.

so long in between actual posts, I know, but the whole voice posting idea kinda got ganked when Nathan was born, heh.

rough update:

Nathan was born 3 weeks early.
DOB: November 13th, 2009
Weight: 5lbs 14 oz

I forget length, and what time, but I know it was after 5:30am. They made her wait cause Kristy had just gotten done eating dinner.

Poor Koda...she didn't understand why mommy wasn't coming home from work when daddy did. She's adjusted though. She LOVES her lil brother, it's so cute. She wants to hold him and feed him and burp him, etc etc.

Kristy was just about crying over how Koda didn't even hesitate to start loving on him. She was worried that, like most kids, Koda would get jealous of Nate getting all the attention. Instead, we just about have to keep her away from the poor baby, lol.


um, what else...mom came to visit. She's been here for almost 3 weeks, but she spent most of it as sis' house.

The one week she was here, she read through my book so far and...loved it. Strangely enough.

she's christian-christian (as I've mentioned before, lol), and I use language that she doesn't approve of, as well as the book itself being based off the theory that the bible isn't quite right, but...yeah, I was pleasantly surprised.

sis even heard her talking to her boyfriend and said that "it's almost impossible to write a book these days without using bad language, but the book is so good, you don't really think about the words being used! the dialogue and the characters are sooo well done.." etc etc. and mom has also apparently told one of my cousins that she loves it and thinks that it would easily rival Twilight and Harry Potter.

I'm...not sure what to think, heh. it's good to know I have her support/fandom, but at the same time Harry Potter? Twilight? ...wow. (and how-tf did MY mother get into TWILIGHT, of all things?? though she says she only saw the first movie, and that's what she liked, but still...)

my brother and his wife came down from Oklahoma tonight, too. They're here to pick mom up and take her back home, but while they were here, we had a mini photofest for mom. She had us "girls" in matching shirts - which wasn't NEARLY as bad as I thought it would be...she actually picked a GOOD shirt! not one of those fluffy santa things *_* - and we took pics at IHOP, lol.

my brother...is finally taking steps to get closer, so I'm kinda happy with him. I like his wife, though I only got to meet her twice. She puts up with his bullshit, so she's golden XD

hmph, working on a layout for apop_newlooks (on livejournal). not much else to update on anyway:S

they won't take the baby until 4 or 5am cause Kristy had just ate something before her water broke >.<
