okay, tomorrow (today, monday, whatever), the sale on this place closes. Kristy is supposed to come home as soon as it's settled, and we'll finish up packing EVERYTHING except what we'll be sleeping in/on, and what we're wearing the next day.

I'm finding a home for BOTH of my cats. Once we move (we're packing right now), me, Kristy and Koda are going to a pet store/or/shelter and getting a "family" kitten.
*sighs* I'm...mixed feelings. on the one hand, I feel better because now I don't have to pick one brother over the other, or worry about hurting someone else. Kristy likes Squall, Koda and sis both adore Spiky, and I love them both.
also, these two are used to being around kids, so I had been worried about one of the kids getting scratched in the face/eyes. With a kitten, it'll grow up around the kids, and we can also start it getting used to regular baths and being brushed/groomed on a daily basis.
Kristy is paying for the adoption. I told her I didn't want her to, but she is insisting. I tried explaining that, with HER paying for it, it wouldn't feel like it's MINE. She said that the cat WILL be mine, but she wants to pay for it since it's because of HER/her family that I'm losing these two.

very quick, short update. I know I have a whole assload of stuff to update on, but right now, the big thing is that I/we will most likely be moving at the end of the month~
the man we work for (J) is selling some of his stores, including the one we're at. The buyer has been coming around checking out everything before the sale is final, and they're considering making us an offer to stay with them, but with the way the guys were treating Brian & Kristy, we're most likely going to tell them to shove it up their ass.
luckily, J has already told us that if we don't want to go to the new company, he will MAKE room for us at one of his other stores. right now, the other store he's offered to move us to is actually the one that I lived at before I started working for Brian and Kristy. the place is really nice, but, as with most of the properties J owns, it's only a two bedroom...and it doesn't have a garage attached, so we're having to scramble to figure out what we're gonna do with my room/stuff.
Kristy has a tentative plan in place, but it requires finding a home for one of my cats. Sis is supposed to talk to her hubby about taking the cat that loves her so much, and if she can't convince him to let her have him, she knows someone else who should be able to find a good home. *sighs*
I don't want to give away either of them, but not much choice:\
anyway. Koda graduates from kindergarten at the end of this month, and if we move, it'll probably be around that same time. it depends on if/when the sale goes through.
for the rest of life updates...I'm thinking I'm gonna just have to make a voice post or something. I don't do video blogs/posts, so meh.

I have a massive update to post, but sjfhsd. sick. hate it. also managed to trip over something and cut one of my fingertips on my telescope, so yeah...fuck this shit, dammit >.< this entire week has sucked ass, and I'm not even kidding. *pulls hair*

I forget if I mentioned this in my last short post, but my friend's little brother went missing late saturday night/early sunday morning.
they scoured the town looking for him, checking security cameras in the area, hoping to spot him, put up missing signs, had the police looking, etc etc.

I shoved her the acrylic paint set I had been eying, but couldn't justify paying $12+ on something I probably would use ONCE*. she grabbed it. pointed out some drawing pads...one was especially for acrylic paints, so grabbed that too, and a set of brushes. oh yeah, and some gummy bears on the way out, lol.
she also told me that she's gonna send me her henna kit, cause she still hasn't used it, and she knows I really wanted it, sooo...*_* (yes, Jac, I still have the stuff I got from you, lol. this kit comes with a shitload of stencils, though~ *_*)
I forget how long sis ended up being here, but it was a good long while. she didn't spend the night this time cause of how far apart we live now, but that worked out for the best anyway, lol. I always felt bad that I'd sleep through her visit on sunday, but dammit, it's the ONE day I get to sleep in, so yeah...this time, I didn't have to worry about it, lol.

Don has a BIG collection, and Shiny has LOTS of collections.
yeah. we worked with her until she pronounced it right, but I'm still a bit worried.

Sunday night: us = severe thunderstorm warning + tornado watch
Brian went to park the van in one of the storage units to protect it from hail damage, and while he was out doing that, Kristy stepped outside to smoke and wait for him. (I forget what I was doing, but I was in the kitchen and I heard Kristy call me.
Kristy: "If I say grab the kids...GRAB THE KIDS!"
Me: um....okay...why, what's wrong?
Kristy: I think that's a fucking tornado!
Me: WHAT?! *runs looks*
Kristy: *points* That looks like a fucking TORNADO!
Me: ...fuck.
I cleaned out the closet in Kristy's room and piled couch cushions, my mp3 player (with radio), flashlights, and our e-readers (to keep updated on the storm in case we had to bunker down), my phone and blankets.
then I was trying to figure out how to make sure Koda would go to the closet if we needed her to without fighting or freaking out, and..well, I r smrt:D
she was still awake through all this, so I went over and told her "we might be playing hide-and-seek in a lil bit, if mommy says it's okay, and I know the PERFECT place to hide~ So if mommy says we can play, I'll come in and get you and baby brother, and we'll all go hide, okay?"
it worked, so yay for that, lol, but even MORE yay...the funnel cloud went back up:D as far as we know of, it never touched ground, so it wasn't officially a tornado, but it was damn near close enough for me. -_-*
we were also apparently the only ones that noticed it...well, Denise said she thought she saw something, but wasn't sure, so we might have one other person, but either way, NOT happy.

which makes a LOT more sense than what HAD been going on. Jimmy does NOT answer the call from someone he's fired, and he answered the phone when Dave called him. He also does NOT send over faxes saying "We were glad to have you while we did...best wishes in your future endeavors!" (paraphrased).
so yeah. we think that what happened is Carol was trying to make it look like they walked out on Jimmy, cause SHE's the one that came to the store to tell them the news, and while she was there, she took a phone call from Michelle (in Jimmy's office...also, the one that I was considering being a surrogate mom for), and told her "it's 9:45 and he's not here..."
Dave was right there next to her, but didn't know who she was talking to, so he thought she was saying that JIMMY wasn't there yet.
so yeah. we knew that Carol hates sis anyway, and that she wanted the store her and Dave were running, but we didn't realize just how bad until the other day.
from what we understand now, Jimmy had already planned on moving sis and fam to this other store...that's probably what he meant when Dave asked him "how can you do this?" and Jimmy said "well, you've been there a while, I figure you've gotten a little stagnant, so it was time to move on..."
anyway...yeah, you can bet we're all not happy with that woman.

and Kristy and I have been having some hellacious blow ups lately. she was actually SCREAMING at me the other day...if it hadn't been for the kids, I would've decked her. I was PISSED. even BRIAN said something to her about all the yelling she's done lately =O
quite interesting. was also interesting when Koda told me today "mommy say it not matter what you say", and then "You not yell at me! I yell at you, you not yell at me!" (which is paraphrasing what Kristy was screaming).
anyway...we talked earlier today. cleared some things up. we're gonna try something new to get along, heh. hopefully it works. if not, at least...

yup, that's right...we finally got the room done:D the walls are up, anyway, lol. I'm actually typing this up IN my room:D
it's not painted, and there flooring is just the cement garage floor, but next month I'll pay buy some paint and get to making this place look livable~
