Kristy has...once again...pissed me off. at least this time, I'm not alone. even sis was like "...no, it's not just you. she was in the wrong here.", and usually takes Kristy's side on everything:\

I...am NOT a neat freak. not by a LONG damn shot. if I see one or two dishes in the sink, and it's almost lunch time, I am NOT going to sit there and clean those two dishes, and then have to wash MORE dishes an hour later. if I'm going to be playing with glitter + the kids, I am NOT going to vacuum the floor before hand.

it just doesn't make sense to me. it's a waste of energy, imo. Kristy however...*sighs*

well, she and I have an agreement. during the day, I will clean up the dishes TWICE. once after lunch, and then again at 5, after everyone has had their snacks and everything. greasy bowls are optional (for me) cause she knows I HATE cleaning greasy plastic. usually I leave those to her and Brian and we're all okay with that.

it was the best compromise we could come up with, and it's worked out pretty well.


a couple days ago, Kristy asked me if I would do her a "big" favor and clean out the left over taco stuff from the fridge + clean the bowls. she knew they were greasy, that's why she asked me to do it as a favor.

I cleaned up the dishes from lunch, took the stuff out of the fridge, cleaned a couple of the bowls, and left the others to soak. while they were soaking, I went and stretched out on the couch with Nathan to watch a couple tv shows.

Kristy came in around 2:30 to get something for Brian before she went and picked up Koda from school. and she bitched at me about those dishes not being done, and said that if they weren't done by the time she got back, she was going to be pissed.


...last time I checked, when you want a favor from someone, the correct way to go about it is NOT to bitch and whine at the person. that person is doing you a kindness...they don't HAVE to do it for you; they CHOOSE to do it.

and if you want the favor done by a certain time, then you need to TELL THEM. if you don't, then you need to stfu and let them do it when they choose to; it's THEIR time that they're taking out of THEIR day to do something FOR YOU.


when she got back with Koda, she could tell I was pissed off, and has the audacity to say that if ANYONE had the right to be mad, it was HER.

I almost told her where she could shove the dishes at that point. one thing is certain, I won't be doing her any favors anytime soon. not if this is the way she's gonna be about it.

on the plus side, we're FINALLY getting rain here! annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd, I found Venus about a week or two ago:D well, Venus or Mars, but I think it was Venus cause of the size and color:P
