okay, so a major dampener on the whole moving thing.
now we don't know how close the sell is to being made. it's possible it won't happen at all...which, now, I'm hoping for.

depending on where we go, Kristy says I might have to find my cats a new home.
I told her that isn't an option. I've fought too long for them to give up now. I told her I will find another job to work after hours if I have to so I can pay for my own apartment. I'll be dead on my feet by the time I get home, but I will do what I have to.

Jimmy (owner) told Brian and Kristy that unless the new guys offer a lot of money for us to stay, he'll keep us with him, and just move us to a different store. which would be a million different kinds of awesome, but with it being Jimmy doing the moving, it also means it's gonna be FAST.

basically, they send me a game that isn't quite finished yet; I play what's done so far and then tell them my thoughts/opinions/suggestions/etc. so far, I've only done one, but it was fun, and the story is interesting, so I'm waiting to see how that one goes.

come august or september, Koda will be starting pre-k. and it's not one of those namby-pamby (however you spell it) 2 hour a day things either. She will be gone from whatever time in the morning until like 2 or 3pm two days a week~
the good part about that is that I get a break from the demon child, lol. I'll miss her, but I won't miss the noise x_x
the bad part is that in order to afford this, Kristy's gonna have to cut my pay a lil. no idea how much, but she stressed the "ONLY a lil cut" over and over, so I'm guessing she's already going in her head how to arrange things so I lose as lil as possible, lol.
I'm...actually pretty damn okay with the whole thing XD;; I'd be happy to take 300 a month if it means I get a two day break from that nuthouse x_X now, I'm not gonna tell Kristy that, of course, cause I'd like to keep as close to the current amount as possible, but yeah^_^;;;
next year, when Koda starts actual school, Kristy's gonna try and get Nathan in some kind of preschool too, so I might have to take another cut then too, but we're hoping not. it depends on if we get a raise between now and then~
in the meantime, I HAVE MONDAY OFF:D:D:D
...so far, anyway, lol. it's memorial day, so postal will be closed, and Kristy already plans on telling Brian to stay home with the kids~ technically, they could BOTH take the day off since Jimmy said they could close down completely for the day, but Kristy knows Brian won't do it. (I think he would...he needs a break as much as the rest of us and he knows it:P )
if Brian decides to be an assmunch and go in anyway, Kristy might come home instead. She WANTS to go in the office ALONE, but...yeah. no idea. All I know for sure is that Kristy said I have the day off, and that ONE of them will be down here, so we'll see~
now I'm off. I'm feeling a LOT better, but still anti-social. and I'm in love with the new co-mods on klove. they're just...♥. an insane amount of ♥.

I thought babies didn't start talking til later, but apparently they might learn a word or two early, it's just that they won't be able to communicate more...intelligently until later. so says Kristy anyway.
I say he's already had his second word, but Kristy says no. You tell me:
I walked into the kids' room to get him out of the crib and said "hello peanut butt! hi~!" and he got this big grin and kicked his legs and said "Hi!"
since then, I've said different things to him in the morning, like "good morning" or "rise and shine", etc etc, but he only does his "hi!" when I say "hello" or "hi".
Kristy says it's just a sound, but technically, so is everything we say. The only difference is that we are able to tell what the sounds MEAN and use them in the right way. if he understands the sound enough to know when to say it, then shouldn't it count?

Kristy's on my shit list anyway. she flat out accused me of paying more attention to my computer than I do the kids. the day she said it, she said I had been sending her messages all day instead of paying attention to the kids.
I messaged her a grand total of 4 times.
( lucky I havent kicked her ass yet. )

so yeah. I haven't had my lil discussion with her about that lovely morsel yet. I'm waiting til my throat is healed up, because when we DO have that discussion, I want to be able to deliver my opinion on what happened with quite a bit of volume.

bro in law is apparently trying to get in my good graces? lol, I told him I needed an insanely cheap video card, and that I would give him my credit card number so he could order it for me, but he said he'll see what he can find and pay for it, then I can just pay sis back the next time I see her.

Kristy's BEEN sick, and Koda suddenly spiked a 104 degree temperature saturday night. she ended up throwing up on Kristy x_x. They almost took her to the ER, but they got it down to 102 with medicine and cool rags.
now her temp is going back and forth between 100 & 101. :( Brian and I are both running a low grade fever, and Kristy and I are coughing our lungs out >.<

I'm bored and just finished watching the Madonna ep of Glee, and in love with that 4Minutes song *_*
also, annoyed with life in general, but I'll make it.
and the thing about my chest feeling weird:
Brian thinks it's just a pinched nerve. his family has a history of heart problems too, so he learned early about signs of heart attacks (which is what I was scared that it was), and etc.. he took my pulse and blood pressure, etc.
he said my pulse was fine, strong and steady..a lil sped up, but he figures it's cause I had been freaking out. then he had me move my arm around, and there were certain positions that made it go numb quicker.
after I stopped freaking out and thought about it, it makes sense...that's the same shoulder I hurt playing with Koda a couple months ago:P plus, if it was my heart, I'd probably be dead by now...it started doing this WEEKS ago :P
I'm taking ibuprofen now and sleeping on my other side...so far it seems to be working^_^v
so yeah...sorry if I made you guys worry^_^;;;;

yes, kids are loud, obnoxious, and annoying as hell most of the time, but...there's something incredibly satisfying when a child learns to read their first word, and you realize that you're the one that helped them on that first step of actual knowledge.

I forget if I mentioned about the guys from the fire safety department (or whatever-rf they are) that came by the place to check out our smoke detectors/sprinklers, but um...yeah.
Monday:
Kristy came down to tell me that a guy would be coming down to the apartment to check the detectors, and then pretty much went into a full description of him. this color hair, this color eyes, this color shirt and pants, style of pants, has a russian-ish accent, etc etfc.
halfway through, I'm like "okay, so basically...don't kill him when he comes to the door?"
"well...ask who he is and who's he with, and if it's that guy...yeah, don't kill him."
"...ooookay."
10-15mins later, Brian comes down to tell me that they're gonna be setting off the fire alarms in the house so they can test them...and that the guy is gonna be coming down...to the house.
me: "...okay...Kristy already told me..."
him: "well, she told me to remind you, so.."
me: *sweatdrops*
10-15mins later, the alarms go off, and I'm making sure the kids are okay (good lord those things are loud), and Brian comes back...AGAIN.
Brian: "hey, he's coming here"
me: "..." (um, yeah...I KNOW...)
*watches Brian walk through the house to his room*

her: "well, when they told me they had to go into the house, I told them okay, but don't try to just walk into the house. make sure you knock. they kinda gave me a funny look, so I told them 'I love my babysitter. she takes care of my kids. and she will stake you. so when you go down there, knock. tell her your names. tell her who you are. tell her who you are with. tell her exactly what you are going to be doing, do it, and then go. she WILL stake you. she carries a sharp object on her at all times. she uses one to hold her hair up. and she will stake you with it. talked to Brian about the futon issue earlier~ found out for sure that they do NOT expect me to pay for it, and he said they're planning on looking for a thicker/nicer mattress too:D
also, he thinks he knows a way to divert some of the air con/heater into the garage so I might to get moved out there soon♥ Not holding my breath since I know how busy they are and how tired he usually is after work, but yeah. at least he's getting back on track with it, lol.

I already mentioned that Kristy threw out the mattress I was using and bought a futon instead, but what I DIDN'T mention is how it sounds like she expects ME to pay for something I don't even LIKE.
now, granted she said "I bought you something...well it WAS gonna be gift/surprise, but that was before I found out I had to spend more money." but it still sounds like she's expecting me to pay for the bed since she had to spend a whole whoppin' $30 extra. Unless she's talking about having to pay for the cab ride completely, which is a lil different, cause she only expects me to go half and half on that anyway.

Kristy came down to the house to use the bathroom, and she started having a hissy fit, saying that the house is "fucking nasty".

turns out that her idea of "fucking nasty" for the day was my suitcase, and my blankets that I had kept out to use during quiet time. everything was mostly neat except for a FEW things I had taken out to go through, and the clothes that needed to be washed.
I could understand her not liking the clothes to be a pile on the floor waiting to be washed, but the washer and dryer were BOTH running at the time, so I just put the clothes in a pile where no one would have to step over/go around them. it wasn't spread out all over hell and creation, it was in ONE spot.

I had my notebooks, lil fill-it-in magazine, and some travel type stuff from LA sitting in a pile by the end of the futon so I could type up what I had wrote on the plane and store the vacation stuff separately.
SOMEONE was being a brat and spread them all over the place, and having a fit, so she got put in her room for time out.
Kristy came home and...of course..bitches. not just about the papers/notebooks though.
oh no, nope. she had to move onto the stuff on my computer desk (which THEY put there while I was gone) and the stuff on top of my lil cabinet thing (which, again, THEY PUT THERE).
Now, granted, she started out nice:
"Please clean that up before I do."
it was after that that started pissing me off.
Koda has been an unholy brat to me since I got back. Typical kid, I went away and she's mad at me for it, so she's "punishing" me, pretty much.
but with Koda being a brat, and the fact that I haven't gotten back into ANY kind of sleep schedule since I got home (between monday night, tuesday night, and last night, I think I managed to sleep 12-13 hours, and the majority of that number comes from monday night cause Jac let me sleep in until maybe 5 minutes before Bianca got to the hotel), by the time Kristy gets home and I can clean without munchkin in my way, I'm ready to pass out for a week.
SHE may be used to being a full time mom and having to deal with Koda acting like a bitch on pms, but I am NOT. I've been here for less than a year, she's been a mom for almost 4 years. gimme a fucking break, for crying out loud, I mean SERIOUSLY?! not even home a full two days and you're gonna give this shit to me NOW?
